La vigna

 SITUATION
In the Tuscan region about 3km from Empoli and 35km from Florence. The land is hilly, suitable for viticulture and also olive growing. The cultivable area, 6ha in all, has 4,5 ha devoted to specialized vine growing and 1,5 ha is giving over to specialized olive grove

ORIGIN
History begins in 1949 when Grandfather Quinto buys the hacienda and in 1950 together with his son Duilio decided to carry into effect both original vineyard and olive growing plantations

MANAGERSHIP
Today, Mauro Cartechini, Duilio’s son runs the Cartechini family Vineyards and Olive grove from the moment when the whole family back up in the noble task of producing very fine handcrafted wines and oil taking it forward with an artisan tradition, great care and true zeal
